ANPR - AUTOMATIC NUMBER PLATE RECOGNITION
ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY INSTALLATIONS

ERHC personnel have vast experience of installing Automatic Number Plate Recognition Equipment on Motorways and major Trunk Roads.

Working in partnership with a Number Plate Recognition Equipment Manufacturer we have recently installed 21 ANPR Cameras at 12 locations on the M4 and M48 in South Wales. These cameras were specifically designed to enable Number Plates to be read in all lighting conditions across multiple lanes of the M4 at speeds much higher than the legal maximum. The Cameras were installed for Gwent Police.

Other contracts undertaken include:

• M4 Gwent - Installation of 15No. ANPR Cameras on overbridges, lighting columns and purpose camera poles;
• A55 North Wales - Installation of ANPR sites for Flintshire County Council including the installation of equipment, final connections and all associated Civil Engineering Works
