The Slot Cutting Division, established for over 10 years, has become a leading contractor in its own right specialising in loop detector installation throughout the UK. Working with a variety of Clients, including Consultants and Major Contractors, we undertake:

• “D” Loop Detection systems;
• MOVA; SCOOT; UTC;
• Barrier Control and Bus Priority;
• Unidirectional:
• Balance Loops;
• MIDAS and Count site loops to National Motorway Control System specification (NMCS);
• other vehicle detection systems

Other capabilities include:

• Site investigation, Fault identification and Rectification of existing Loops at traffic signal, trunk road and motorway sites;
• Testing of loops and connection to current specification; and
• Loop chamber, ducting and core drilling

Dedicated resources are fully qualified and experienced, holding NVQ Level 2 CSCS Experienced Worker for Drilling & Sawing certification and the New Roads and Streetworks Act (NRSWA) - Operatives and Supervisors qualification.

Contracts undertaken recently include the installation (and/or renewals) of MIDAS on major motorways (M5, M25, M4 & M20) and traffic signal loops on trunk roads throughout England and Wales.
