Clients recognise the value that we bring to contracts using our in-house expertise to provide planning, installation, commissioning and maintenance services. As Principal Contractor, we are experienced in the undertaking of Long Term Contracts, as detailed below.

Ancillary Works Framework Contract
In 2008, ERH Communications Ltd (working with sister company E R Hemmings (Building Ltd), have secured this 4-year Framework contract undertaking the design, supply and installation works associated with Roadside Communications & Electrical work and road tunnel communications, mechanical & electrical work throughout Wales.

All Wales Maintenance Contract for Tunnels, Traffic Controls & Communications Equipment on Wales’ Motorways and Trunk Roads

A55 Llandygai to Holyhead Maintenance Contract
Held since 2000, this contract, for UK Highways, includes the maintenance of VMS; CCTV; Transmission Networks; Emergency Telephones; Wind Speed Monitoring and Samaritan SOS Telephones on this major trunk road in North Wales.

Maintenance of Subway Pumping Stations
Awarded in 2005, this 2-year contract for Bristol City Council includes the routine maintenance of pumps, valves, pipework and associated control equipment in the city’s subways. We provide an emergency response for all flooded underpasses to rectify pump failures 24/7, 365.

Regional Maintenance Contract (1998 to 2003)
This 5-year contract for the Welsh Assembly Government included the maintenance of all motorway communications equipment on roads in South Wales with the provision of all Traffic Management. In 2003 this contract was encompassed within the All Wales Maintenance Contract.

A55 Network Maintenance Contract (2000 to 2003)
This 3-year contract for Tunnel Network Services included the maintenance of communication equipment including VMS, ETS and other general electrical equipment, feeder pillar lighting control system and CCTV system. In 2003 this contract was encompassed within the All Wales Maintenance Contract.
