David Jones Managing Director
David joined E R Hemmings as Managing Director in September 2008 and is a member of the ERH Group board.
In his new position, David oversees the entire operation of E R Hemmings Building and brings more than 20 years’ experience in executive leadership within the construction industry. He comes to ERH from Wavin, a leading building products manufacturer where he had extensive sales, commercial and strategic management experience.
David is looking forward to all the exciting changes that are taking place within ERH to enable improved processes and maximised customer service. He is keen we remain responsive to customer needs through developed relationships with supply chain partners to create a dynamic locally focused contractor that can meet the customer needs of the 21st century

Rob Pike Director + Company Secretary
Rob joined E R Hemmings in 1988 as Financial Controller after ten years work in the Chartered Accountancy profession. In 1991 he became Company Secretary and in 1994 the Financial Director of E R Hemmings (Building) Ltd. Rob continues to be responsible for the overall financial control and reporting of The ERH Group of Companies.

Mark Whitaker Commercial Director
Mark joined E R Hemmings in 1987 as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and in 1990 was promoted to Commercial Director. Mark is responsible for the Company’s Major Contracts Division with teams of Contract Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Estimators. He is highly experienced in assisting Clients during the two-stage procurement process, liaising with Consultants on Design & Build Contracts and undertaking Partnering on both long term Framework Agreements and individual projects. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

Rob Jones Director (Civil Engineering)
Rob joined E R Hemmings in 1984 as a Site Foreman carrying out mainly civil engineering and utility projects.  In 1989 E R Hemmings acquired civil engineering company, Arnold B Johnson, and due to the performance and continual growth and success of the Civil Engineering Division, Rob was promoted to Civil Engineering Director in 2002.  Rob is responsible for all Civil Engineering activities and has a very hands-on approach assisting Contract Managers and Quantity Surveyors with their day-to-day activities.

Rob Goddard Director (Minor Works)
Rob joined E R Hemmings in 1993 as a Contracts Manager and was promoted to Minor Works Director in 2002. He is responsible for the Company’s Minor Works, Facilities Management & Building Maintenance Division with teams of Contract Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Estimators. Rob is the Company’s “Partnering Champion” and operates two long-term Framework Contracts using this form of procurement. Rob is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building.

Nigel Cramp Director (Main Contracts)
Nigel has 25 years experience within the Construction Industry in the Bristol Area and joined E R Hemmings (Building) Ltd in 1998. Working for us he has successfully delivered a range of projects for both Private and Public Sector Clients encompassing education, commercial, industrial, healthcare, leisure and residential markets. In 2002 he was promoted to Contracts Director to reflect his positive contribution to the business.

Geoff Smith Director
Geoff joined E R Hemmings in December 1980 working out of Ernie Hemming's house in Bristol . Geoff became a Director in 1983 and is now the managing director of sister company ERH Communications but remains on the board of Directors of E R Hemmings (Building) Ltd.
